I guess you could ask your hairdresser to cut the back first and then cut the sides when it's pinned back.

It might look a little odd while it's all down, but it might be worth it to get the look...

Yep... I use one or two drops as a sealant as well (after my LI). I also rub a few drops on my scalp before I wash my hair if my scalp is really dry.

I second the gel if you want to avoid poof and as raindear said, you can always scrunch or pat out the crunchiness after your hair has dried fully.

I suppose you could do this every night.. I'm too lazy so I just wash my hair every 3 days. I tie it up once it starts looking really messy. Also I wash it at around 5/6pm so that it has time to dry...
