My routine I use a leave in, then a creme, then a gel on top. Works wonders for me! I've tried to use creams as a styler but that doesn't work on my hair it comes out frizzy.

Yes I live in a hot/humid climate pretty much year round we are near Nov and its 85 out here in Houston. So my main thing I fight is frizz. I'm not sure about colder climates sorry.
