It seemed to work okay for me. I feel like the wash cloth I used (which was just a wash cloth sized piece of jersey I cut up) didn't hold quite enough water so maybe something else would work better.

I like that I can put a lot in and it doesn't make my hair hard or crunchy, yet it holds the curls for days.
