I also pick my hair as a last step. Especially the underside, which looks unkempt if I don't. I agree that this advice (not to brush) is for the higher hair numbers who have a problem with breakage.

To me, Slip doesn't replace conditioner. It's too light. But it does help with combing and frizzies. I rotate in CHS products when stuff stops working.

My hair has been a mess since the warm weather rolled around. I had a lot of frizz. A protein treatment has helped a little, since I noticed that all my other products had come up protein-free.
