Has anyone tried Mane n' Tail conditioner?

I did, sometime back in the 90s. It was truly awful on my hair - it left it waxy, dull and coated. But your experience might be different, plus they might have changed the formula since nearly 20...

Can hair DNA change?

Hair "DNA" doesn't change - its texture does as one ages. Some notice their grey hairs are finer and thinner, others notice that they are more wiry/coarse, or with little kinks in them(that tend to...

Natural(but inexpensive) face creams?

I'm with ldymmide with the assessment of those products posted by the original poster as being way too complicated. That's the trouble with many so-called natural items in the beauty world. However,...

Aging man turned off by aging partner's body

That guy sounds like a colossal jerk, to put it mildly.:( The absolute nerve of him to accuse her of making a big deal out of what didn't think was a big deal, as far as what he said about her body....

A bad cut:(

Oh dear - that's the worst hair-cutting horror story I've heard for awhile, as far as how much was taken off. Did she go so fast that you couldn't say anything? In some horror stories before people...

One word - LOTS, no matter what it is LOL! This is why I have to go cheap with my products. Even though my hair is not long(it's in an inverted bob)there's enough of it on my head for 3 people....

skipping the leave-in

My hair just goes limp if I use leave-ins, even under a gel. I just use LALSG after I wash my hair, since I need a hard-hold get. Curl creams do exactly nothing for me - they look nice for maybe an...

Mineral makeup

I might be the odd one out here - for me mineral makeup was a disaster on all counts. Bear in mind that I'm older so that might have something to do with it. I found it very drying, covered...

Vitamin C serum irritating my skin?

@CurlyinParadise: One applies the E oil to spots only, although one doesn't have to be super-precise the way one has to do with prescription hydroquinone(which I wouldn't touch with a 10-ft. pole...

I wouldn't go as short as in the photo - a couple of inches or so longer, and in an inverted bob style - longer in front than in back, on an angle - can be either very dramatic, or on a lesser angle,...
