Have you experimented with the LOC method? Liquid, Oil or butter, Cream or water based product. If that does not work, then go back to traditional LCO.

I always do chunky twists at night. Otherwise my hair would mat something awful. I always seal the ends with a butter mixture or pomade. This method keeps SSKs at a minimum.

I moisturize daily in Florida. In the summer sometimes spritz in the afternoon with a little moisturizer. Oyin Hair Dew works in any climate for me.

My recommendation is to use a sulfate free shampoo every week or 2. Shampoo bars are great. You probably need an ACV rinse afterward at this point. Follow with a deep conditioner and you should be ok.

I like Terressentials ok but prefer to use my own Rhassoul wash. I just mix clay with my herbal tea blend, oils and essential oils. Apply and leave on 30-45 min and follow with DC. Love it!
