Also.. I just noticed you tried sealing on dry hair. From what I read, you're not supposed to use it on dry hair because it just makes it hard to let in moisture, while the inside is dry.

I use plain castor oil and I don't have a problem...
I use plain castor oil and I don't have a problem with it. I just cowash with my regular suave conditioner, leave it on longer, and scrub well on dry or wet hair.
