that type of cut always worked well for me because my hair was so heavy and weighted down without the layers. Not sure how it would work for hair that isn't as heavy.

I found mine in walgreens. It is a spray gel (at least mine is) so if you aren't looking for a spray bottle, that might be why you are missing it.

I always use mine over top everything.

I just picked some of this up and have been using it for about a week. It works great for me (Floridian), and doesn't leave any build up... even with the pvp in it.
