Cetearyl and Cetyl Alcohols are fatty alcohols..they do not dry out your hair. Alcohols to avoid are denatured alcohols (alcohol denat) and isopropyl alcohols.

Johnson Baby shampoo makes a wonderful low poo too if that helps.
