Peroxide technically is bleach, but on its own it can lighten, and since her hair isn't a super light color, it'd probably be safer to do that so that you don't go too light. It'll still be drying...

Yeah actually mine used to be more like that, you look gorgeous as it is but if you ever get bothered and WANT more curl at the top, you'd just have to layer it up a little probably :)
