I actually was thinking of doing a protein treatment because my hair really needs it. Here's a couple of pics. I straightened my hair a few weeks ago and I think that made it worse....

I've had grays since I was 16, but over the last few years, they've come in more and are coarser and silvery. The hair is straight and very fragile. It's hard to style being that there's a lot of it...

I just saw this thread and Orson Scott Card came first to mind. I enjoyed "Ender's Game". I have yet to read the sequels.
