If you are ever in Columbus, you can try the Akada (sp?) salon in Grandview (a suburb in the Columbus metro area.) They specialize in cutting/styling curly hair. I'm pretty happy with them.

Satin pillowcases
Satin is a type of fabric weave. Satin can be made from different kinds of fibers - silk, cotton, polyester, and maybe even others. I would suggest a silk or poly satin pillowcloth or scarf.
