I have been using sulfate-free shampoo/conditioner (Everyday Shea) and noticed flakey hair after 2nd/3rd day?? The only styler I use is FSG so I was wondering if any avid users of FSG experience...

I really like your cut! Is is technically a "bob" I want to try something different but I always chicken out and go for "trim into long layers" The gel is great- never again have to shop for one!

REAL coconut oil will say it on the label (extra virgin, raw, unrefined) and it will smell like COCONUTS! It also melts within seconds of rubbing it on your hands.
Refined stuff will not smell...

Try adding it to a spray bottle and then adding it to your hair in sections (make sure you drench, comb the gel through and SCRUNCH!) Works like magic!

I have had luck melting some EV UNREINED coconut oil and a few drops of EO rosemary massaged on scalp and hair and rinse completely after 20 minutes!

It's easy and cheap and works for me!

I did not feel the aloe vera gel had enough hold for my 3bs. It does not compare tothe definition and hold the HFSG mixed with aloe has in my opinion!

Thank you ladies! I ended up mixing lemon juice with conditioner and combing it into my scalp. Then when I got into the shower I scrubbedalittleharder and I work up with good dry hair again...
