crazycurlz are you talking about using it with KCCC as a LI or a rinse out?
Hi Del - I was using GFTN as a LI and then adding KCCC over it. It was . I'm still trying to figure out why sometimes my hair can handle aloe and other times it turns to garbage. Is it other products that don't mix well or is it just my bi-polar hair?!?

When I first started using this stuff I didn't like it. I tried it as a rinse out and got a lot of frizz. I tried it as a leave in and got a lot of frizz and it felt yucky.

The other day I tried it again as a leave in and changed my technique a little. I'm quite pleased with it right now. My hair is sooo soft and the frizz is minimal. I don't have gel or any kind of hold product in my hair and I'm pretty happy with it. I don't know if it's the product the weather or the change in technique. Quite possibly it could be all three I guess. Either way right now I'm really happy with this stuff. My hair doesn't feel at all dry and has a nice silky feel to it with some really good shine. I'm definitely going to continue to use this stuff as a leave in. I don't think I like it much as a rinse out or a co wash but it's working really well as a leave in and for the price you can't beat it!

I think the Garner is too Rich & Oily as a LI with KCCC. When I used GF it was with curl cream and it was too much for me but that was using it as a rinse out. Unless your hair is SUPER DUPER dry (which is what this stuff is made for) I think you need to be careful what you use for stylers especially if you use it as a LI.

I agree. Today I have it in as a LI with LA Looks Sports Gel (the kind with protein) and my hair is darn near perfect. I think the balance between the intense conditioning of GF as a LI combined with the gel that has Hydrolized Collagen in it is close to the right balance for my hair. I'm still experimenting with the spritz and condish method

I did this for my son's hair. Worked great. He's a 2B very very very thick (looks like a wig!) and medium everything. He loves the LALSG.

I'm so glad it's working. It is very very rich--I could not use it as a LI myself as my hair is too fine and thin. Still working for Tahia's though. Since her hair is getting better conditioned we are actually just either co-wash or low poo and then rinsing and then using something as LI w/o a Rinse out condish. That seems to be fine. She wanted to try the Shescentit Avocado conditioner last night so we tried that as a LI--not a good choice. It works awesome for me as a rinse out but not as a leave in. I told her we'll try it next time as a rinse out. We had to backpeddle and add a bunch of the GF. Learned our lesson!

I bought it last night on sale at CVS and tried it this morning with some Biotera Curl Creme and Gel. I like what I'm seeing!

I have this and it was.... meh. It has awesome slip but it felt a little greasy for me. Too much oils? Not sure. The end result was nothing special.

It's not on sale at the CVS near me! Isn't it strange that some locations have different products on sale in the same week.

Does it smell like all other Garnier products? I really don't care for the smell of Garnier's products.

Thanks-
Sherry

This thread reminds me of the Loreal Nutrigloss thread that was on here for so long. I too am not fond of the scents or the grease factor when I used previous Garnier fructis products. I may try it, if it doesn't work at least I know a great place to unload it!

Works for me! My hair feels silky, soft and moisturized. I used it as LI and TJ Refresh for clumps and topped it all off with FSG. There is some serious frizz, so I may need to finish with a heavier styling gel.

To the PP, the smell seems lighter than other GF products -- more like green apple rather than that heavy artificial fruity scent.

I love this conditioner. I use it for the conditioner only method. My hair is super soft. Not greasy or weighed down. I think the smell is very nice. I get compliments on how good my hair smells at work. I also had a co-worker notice that I had less shrinkage. But I am sure all that depends on porosity and what not.

I had the same reactions to the Loreal NG - all 3 times i went 'back' to it. Left me producty and greasy. The GF rinses much cleaner - like a more pricey condish, slip wise.

Interesting...LVPNG is actually the conditioner that I tried with the co only method and my hair was ick...greasy..etc. It seemed to do ok as a rinse out but not as a leave in.....I will have to break down and try the GF in my stash..I was trying to be a good girl and wait until I finished my other opened containers.

I looooooooooovvvveee this stuff! It's unreal. My hair has never been so soft. I can use it as a cowash or a deep conditioner and it works wonders. And from what I can tell on the ingredients there are no cones in it. I find it in Walmart all the time, maybe they just didn't have it in stock when you went to purchase some.

Tried this again and it's really pretty good for a drug store conditioner. It is definitley heavier then LVPNG, it will go in rotation but not more then once a week for me. It's very smoothing & moisturizing. I don't get curl enhancement from it like I do with CJ Rehab but I get good conditioning from it. I think in the Winter it will be even better for me.

I swear this stuff is doing more good for my hair than anything else I've tried so far. Using it as a leave in has really made a huge difference in my hair. Even on second and third day hair it's just soo much softer and more moisturized and less frizzy! I'm so happy!!

Yay! So happy to hear...I know from reading other posts you've been struggling to find products that helped with your frizz.

I bought some of this conditioner because of this thread and I agree...it's a really great product at a reasonable price, love it!
