Thanks xcptnl and mpgirl. The lock ant twist and coco hemp sounds good.Soon I will be buying a sample kit and I hope that the coco curl butter works for me even though my hair hate proteins.

Do you honestly think she manufacturers the product for 99 cents?
What hair product do you know of that costs $2.99? any product that sells for $2.99 must cost pennies to make in order to make a profit. then it would probably have some crappy ingredients that none of us on here would want to use.
Kinky Curly is really the cheapest when you compare it to the other curly products out there. Miss Jessies $38, Hair Rules $32, Mixed Chicks ...I am talking about brands that are in stores and not just online. And when you look at the ingredients compared to the other epensive ones... mineral oil, synthetic color all that stuff. So I dont understand why so many keep saying that it is expensive

Sadly that the price for KCCC at honeyfig has gone up from 36$ to 38$=(.The product only work good for me when I combine it with other stuff.I hate getting glue like things on me from the KCCC.I want to try curl junkie gel and DM jelly to see if they are better.

Can you tolerate Wheat Protein or other proteins? If you have protein sensitivity I can't imagine you would like the CCB. The L&T is very similar but heavier.

DEL2C-My hair can tolerate the protein that blendedbeauty uses in her products.Well her styling lotion doesn't make my hair curly anymore but it doesn't mess up my hair.

And my hair seems to like the plant proteins in the alba leave in conditioner.

My hair hates wheat protein and many proteins. Her CCB look so yummy so I wanted to take the risk to try it before lol. Thanks for telling me about the L&T=).

Unhappy The Ingredients of the DM Honey/Aloe Jelly Have Been Changed

It looks as though she's had to cost-cut on the ingredients to bring it back. The price of honey's gone through the roof due to a mysterious bee epidemic called Colony Collapse Disorder. The carbomer that provided the hold has been removed and so has the pro-Vitamin B-5 that gave a little smoothing and defrizzing. I sympathize with the terrible stress of trying to produce commercial quantities of a product when the price of an ingredient skyrockets, but I think she made a poor decision. It would have been better to keep the ingredients that made the product work, and find a substitute ingredient(s) for some or all of the honey. Of course if all the honey were replaced, the product would have to be renamed. If it worked as well as the original did, I'm sure it would have the same following.
