Default Deep Condition

I Henna'd over the weekend and decided to deep condition today. I use a mixture of: Hot Oil, Coconut Oil, EVOO, Jojoba, and Vitamin E. I'm going to leave in overnight and rinse in the morning. Let me know what you all think!!

Default Today's TWA

CO washesd with Sauve, Lustrasilk Right On Curl Activator Moisturizer, followed by Lustrasilk Styling Gel (picked the Gel up last night on a whim). Really loving how my hair turned out this AM. No crunch, soft, and where I have curls, they have good definition.

I did a last chop yesterday of the rest of my permed ends, but I noticed that it seems no matter what I put in my hair, its dry and wiry so today I got up and decided to try to do something different. I mixed a small amount of neutralizing shampoo with my suave nats(I am on a cg regimen but thought maybe I need a tiny shampoo) and washed my hair out.

Then I mixed about 3tbp of ACV in with hot water and rinsed that into my hair. Then I rinsed out.

Next, I made my own mix of a DT.

I first mixed my own oil: hot 6, hair food, raw shea butter, tree tree grease, and cocoa oil. I add about 2 tbp to a bowl, then I added

Lustrasilk Aloe Vera Chol.
Loreal Vive Pro for Long Hair that curly co
Aphogee pH balance,
Suave Naturals co
Hair Vitalize Protein and Balsam co
the oil

I mixed it all up in a bowl and slapped it on my hair, its been about 2.5 hrs and now I'm sitting here with a heated towel on over the shower cap. I'm going to wash it out in about 30 mins and see if I can see a change in the dryness.

So in case I had any build up, I did the mild poo and ACV rinse, and now I have my DT with oil, protein, aloe vera, and moisturizers and hopefully this helps.

Maybe I should start doing this about twice a week if it seems to be better now.

My hair is so stiff and dry looking sometimes.

I refreshed my two strand twists.I have a little texturizer left on the ends. I'm just trimming bit by bit.

I've been bunning since my rollerset on Sunday. My straight hair needs way more butters/moisturizers than when curly. I've been OD'ing on Jane Carter Nourish & Shine, shea butter, Curl Junkie Curl Fuel on my ends, Hairveda Whipped cream. 2x a day slapping something on my strands. I'm washing tomorrow morning.

Did a dt this afternoon. Hot oil consisting of evco and shea butter. I left that on for about an 1 hr and 15. washed it out in the shower and conditioned. My hair seemed to like it but I'm not quite satisfied

Default Saturday Night / Sunday AM routine

Saturday night tried using a few of my new products). Poo'd with my mixutre of Dr. Bronner Castille Soap, Water, and Olive Oil. DT with Jessicurl WDT then used Treasured Locks Locks and Curls. Sunday AM spritzed with water (my HG ), added SheaMositure and a little more of the Treasured Locks, finger raked through and air dried.

Opinons of the new items

Jessicurl WDT - not sure. Feel like I get better conditioning with the organic Hair Mayonaisse I got from Dollar Tree. Will use again before making a final decision

SheaMoisture - like. I seem to do better with shea butter when it's an ingredient in something else as opposed to using it straight.

Treasured Locks - good mositurization but did nothing for curl definition for my hair, so will probably use it but won't be purchasing it, again.

Default Curled twists and flat twist

I got the idea to do this style from youtube. I used kinky-curly knot today, wiped shea butter, flax seed gel and a spray bottle to achieve this style.

I curled the micro twists with bantu knots, after dampening the twist with my spray bottle, and then unraveled the knots the next day.

The tutorial on how to do this style is below:

Beautiful!

Yesterday I did flat-twists too. I'm teaching myself how to do them. They turned out OK, but I used big sections of hair--6 rows of flat-twists. When I get the technique down I'll be able to pull off extravagant styles like yours!

Got a trim today.
Not sure what she washed and conditioned it with, but she left in Deva One C, then styled with Chi Organics glaze. I dried under the hood dryer (helmet head) then got the scrunch crunched out and fluffed with Set it Free and a little of that new unreleased Deva serum product.
