Default Kinky-Curly styling video

I put this together this morning. Sorry if you can't hear me -- I was pretty tired!

It also shows how I clip my hair, since I've gotten a few questions/PMs about that latley.

Enjoy!

Ooooo! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I absolutely love your hair! And, I just started the KC duo!

Video is great!! I can hear you loud and clear. Thank you for taking the time out to do this! You have probably saved us curlies some valuable KCCC!

That was really good!

You mentioned long hair application. My hair is waist length when wet, and I scrunch it in the same way that you do, and it seems to work. I just need more product and a little more time.

I'm fascinated and I appreciate the helpful tips. What I'm mostly curious about is how similar our hair looks when wet. I can't seem to maintain the curl you have throughout the day. I wonder if it is because my hair is longer than yours. I would die of happiness if my hair could look like yours.

What do you like best about the KC duo? What do you feel it does for you?

Outside of how much I like the physical properties of the products (I don't have to fight with the KT to apply it since it's got so much slip, and the CC smells so wonderful and feels deliciously like snot) and how they're all-natural and lasting me a lifetime... hmm. Well, I think I get softer hair with the KC products than I've been able to get from any other combo. It just FEELS so unbelievably silky. Also, it makes my curls very resilient. None of my products really crap out on me as the day goes on (I either chose them that way, or my hair has a kind soul), but the KC products seem to enhance this and make my hair BOING. I can also usually get 2nd day hair with this stuff.

And, for someone who's growing out her hair, the obvious elongation factor is kinda nice at the moment. I still can't believe my hair looked so long in that video. It shrunk up a tiny bit once it dried some more, but

It was too funny to see how excited you were about the length

Thanks for the video. I normally rake the CC in, but I am not 100% happy with my results. I am going to try scrunching it in next time.

Another wonderful movie!! Good job! This was fun to watch since I used this combo this morning. This is almost exactly how I do it, except I plop with the Curlease instead of scrunching it myself. When I started out using this combo, I used a little BRHG, too, but realized my hair seems to curl up better without that harder gel -- probably due to my looser curl pattern.

Your hair is GORGEOUS as always and I can't believe how long it is!!

Cute! Thanks, mysteryflavored. I do have one question...I have noticed this combo (KT & CC) works better for me on the days I wash with at least a little Come Clean rather than just a conditioner or water wash. Is this true for you?

I don't own Come Clean, but I haven't really noticed a difference in performance on the days I do shampoo compared to the days I don't. I also haven't paid attention.

LOL, I guess when you've got curls that don't quit you don't have to pay attention to those kinds of things. Your hair is great. Love it!

Awesome video! It really helps to see how other people do it. I couldn't get the KCCC to work for me. I always ended up stringy or my hair would poof out halfway through the day. Makes me want to try it again too bad I swapped it!

Mine poofs out, too, but I'm wondering if this could be avoided with BRHG scrunched on top as mysteryflavored does in the video.

KC is currently #4 on Curl Mart's bestseller list.
