Curl Junkie Aloe Fix, Uncle's Daughter Curly Magic or KCCC? Which do you prefer?

I'm 3c/4a with random 3b lovin.. my darn 3c hair loves everything and I mean everything! All of my hair from my eyebrows up is 3c 3b mix. Its my 4a hair that doesnt like current things. It looks funky when wet with KCCC and bc of the humidity in Knoxville, Tn being so darn high it take 2-3 days to try and than m hair hair is shrunken hard mess!. Mixchicks just looks odd and my hair is kinda hard.. I prefer a natural styler now. I gotta mess load of hair lol.

Any suggestions on any products?

I have this awesome picture that shows how big my hair is now. the funny part is my hair was shrunken but I dont want yall laughing at me so I didnt put it up.

I think I have the pickiest hair in the world. It responds well to KCCC. For my hair, KCCC doesn't leave my hair crunchy or feeling dried out and I get decent definition, for me. I didn't like the the Curl Junkie. I had a few crunchies which I didn't mind but it left my hair on the dry side. I've not tried Uncle's Daughter Curly Magic.

Did Kinky-Curly change the formulation? I have a jar thats is just seating here. but my hair is way longer now I might revisit it.

Glad to hear a non sunshiny review about the Aloe Fix.

My hair responds best to KCCC. I have the Uncle Funky's Daughter Curly Magic and it is not like KCCC for me at all. I only use it to slick my hair back and only because I bought it so I have to use it. It doesn't feel the same in my hair at all. I haven't tried the Curl Junkie.

I'm a 4a - KCCC and Uncle Funky's daughter acts the exact same way on my hair. To me they are interchangable products. Both are aloe vera based and are slimy in consistency. You have to let them both completly dry or else its kind of icky to the touch.

I don't like that icky/slimy/sticky feeling when damp but overall Uncle Funky's daughter and KCCC both work.

kccc takes roughly 8 hrs to dry on my hair. so for 8 hrs i look like there is this gunk in my hair. it may just be my hair. it looks funky wet; the product pools in little droplets in the curls.

hmm...no product should be gunky on your hair. how much are you using? what type of leave-in? my hair takes about 7 hours to fully dry, but there is no odor nor gunky look/feel.

I just put some in my hair. Its not so gunky this time but i also smoothed off the excess. I did use honey hemp condish. This time i used the knot today. My hair is a low porosity mostly outside of 1 or 2 small patches that are normal porosity. so things take a million years for things to absorb if my hair is wet.

vinegar rinses still may help your hair. do all products just set on top of your hair?

most things. actually every product I can recall using my whole life does. Some products absorb in minutes which is nice most are hours. My hair is extremely thick, heck relaxers wouldnt take and even henna bc my hair just isnt porous. It will absorb products faster on dry hair than wet. Qhemets OHHB and Qyin HH condish are the only two that work on my wet hair since they only take 30 min to absorb.

Uncle Funky's is a bootleg version of kccc and they need to stop it cause they copied kccc. Anywho with that being said...lol! The aloe fix gives me hold but soft silky curls that stay. The kccc holds my hair harder and longer than the aloe fix, which is good if I need to stretch a hairdo for a week.

LMAO!!! Ive seen your video review on aloe fix. I really want to try it. My hair usually last a week or two oddly so long hold isnt a problem. How many hours does it take to dry? It seem more economical to buy the aloe fix. I got the kccc to work for me for the 1st time but im no going to repurchase it.

Im really trying to avoid that problem. I completely understand how that feels. The good part is my hair is two inches past my shoulders so it doesnt take much to use up most products.

Last week-end was the first time I ever heard of this product. So of course I look it up and the "key ingredients" listed are the same as KCCC. I guess since they used the words key ingredients that must be how they got away from a lawsuit.

ETA: I have only tried KCCC and I love it!
