My hair would be a gd awful nest if i messed with it that much when it was wet.

I guess it may work for some, but i cant afford the frizz or volume this would provoke. I also dont see why we couldnt do the same thing with our towel of choice.

Lastly, she looked like she had muppet hands

I dunno, it kinda looks like it has little nubbies on it the way ordinary towels do - even in microfiber, that kind of texture could cause frizz. I wish the video was more close-up or clearer because then I'd be able to tell! I also kinda wish I could recommend some conditioners to the ladies in the video...

How funny I just noticed this add too! I'm not too sure about that. I don't get frizz but it seems to me I would end up with weird curls ... since I'm a wavy/curly mix.

I'll have to check out the video!

Her hair looks really matted after using this. Mine would be a frizzy mess.

Yay, good to see you Jess!

2ndly, I think I get better volume with less frizz with my diffuser. And I second what the other girls said, and I think a regular microfiber, or maybe the curl ease would do better.

intersting idea. I was tempted to buy it but it does look a bit frizzy. If it was cheaper, I would try it.

Why would anyone want their hair to look like that?? It's a frizzy mess!

Hahaha ya I know...but I've never been able to tame my frizz with any of the millions of products I own so...

I am intrigued because as fall comes I'll have to go back to the diffuser or R2D2. BUT my hair is soooo much healthier when I use NO heat.

Maybe it's just because I haven't bought anything hair related in so long...My PJ has been quiet for way too long

My hairdresser (who specializes in curly hair) says she has been having great success with them on her clients. She tried it on me and it was a frizzy mess. I always leave there with my hair damp so it's hard to tell but by the time I got home, I had to rewet my hair as it was awful.

I actually own the gloves...they were designed by Michael at Delineation in Toronto...I like them as they give you control over your scrunching....there is a learning curve, however. The trick is to stop scrunching before frizz develops. They are helpful to get volume at the crown. They do cut drying time as well---helpful when using KCCC

Her hair looks like a matted rat's nest (as my grandma used to call my hair when I was little). Yuck and no thanks!!!

Hm...doesn't seem like my hair would be able to take that either. You do have a very interesting point--why do you need gloves? Just use a microfiber towel or something and put your hand under it; then scrunch out the water.

I wonder if you can put the hair glove over the devafuser hand??

I know it probably would not work but I still want it.

Curly Hair Solutions sent an email around advertising these today too. If they worked and speeded up drying I'd be all for it but I'm not totally convinced. I'd like to see it with someone with more curl though and also using a diffuser to finish off the style. Have to wonder how much of the frizz is from blowing the hair around with the hair dryer at the end. I'm going in to the JT Salon in November so I'll check it out then and report back.

I went to the web site but couldn't see a picture of the glove to gauge its texture. Her hair in the close up was sort of wispy/frizzy, although it did look better than when she started.

I came on the hair board today just to post about this and of course there is already a thread. I think it's a neat concept, but....

The glove is overpriced, IMO. For $22.95 you should get a pair of gloves. If I was going to get this I'd want a pair. I don't even spend $46 on a pair of leather gloves, nevermind microfibre. Secondly, the video demos sucked. The spokesperson did a lousy job on her hair, (sorry, dear, if you are reading this forum, but we all need help with our hair or nc.com wouldn't exist), and the video quality is awful. I don't have patience with poor video execution, especially if you are trying to sell me something. Just my two & half cents.

What I thought interesting was the color of the ad on this site and the font, etc. So so so close to Deva advertising. Almost makes me wonder if they might have had a 'hand' in this (pun totally intended).
