All you PJ's know you have suggestions for a Leave-in for me.
Hey ladies! Not sure if this goes here, but I figure the people who frequent this area are my pj's so, you'll probably know the most. ha ha ha.
Okay, so I need a leave-in, similar to CJ Curl Assurance Leave in. With that kinda slip and glycerin lower on the list. I would prefer it not be all oils. It should be creamy not spray. Don't worry too much about the ingredients, I'll do that when I go through them. I'm like Alex, and tend to get OC'd with Ben Meth, so I'm trying to cut down the amt I use CJ leave in.
Thanks ladies

I'm currently loving the shescentit LIs. The spray doesn't have the ingredient that overconditions you, the Coco Creme does.

I've never tried the CJ Curl Assurance. The only leave-ins I've used are the Giovanni DLI, which I'm sure you've tried with all the hype about it around here, as well as Beauty Without Cruelty Leave-In. I find the BWC one to be very similar to GDLI except a bit better. I think it might have a bit more slip and a bit more moisture...

Goobernut did you try the Lustrasilk Olive Oil one? It's certainly not natural but it works pretty good for me. Does not seem to weigh me down at all if I use my regular pea sized amount. I've also used Aura Cherry Almond Bark and that's worked pretty well the few times I've used it.
If you want samples of these PM me

You know I'm gonna 2nd Lustrasilk Olive Oil. Have you tried Afro Detangler? I like it in the warmer weather. I know you said you want to cut down on the Beh Meth but I do like DM Mira Detangler (it's got coconut ) too...I'm still playing with KBB Super Silky but I've gotten good results with it so far.

I'm really liking the KBB Super Silky (glycerin free) and it distributes really well. Also as Alex mentioned, the Aura Cherry Almond Bark is nice too.

Of course I already have a huge tub of LOOC. hah. I used it once and it left me kinda producty. Maybe I should try again and use less? I think I used a nickel size instead of a pea.
I was thinking about the KBB super silky, gotta go look at the ingredients.
Actually Sarina I have not tried the GDL because I guess I just haven't gotten around to it, not sure why lol, I think I've read the ingredients a couple of times and I figured I wouldn't like it. Don't remember why, but you know, the life of a product junkie.
I noticed the DM detangler today, and dang it looked interesting! I am going def try the Coco-leave in from she scentit, even though it has ben meth in it. It looks so similar to CJ CA leave in that I have to try it, just to see if I like it lol.
Is the aura cherry bark really creamy? with good slip?

The DM detangler is great, atleast the older version was. I recommend Elucence MBC. It works great for me as a leave in. I didn't care too much for Giovanni, it had too many oils and was easy to overdo. Good luck finding a good leave in.

Very creamy (fairly thick but distributes well) and yes, good slip.

I'm preferring Lustrasilk Shea/Mango over LOOC--more slip, less product-y feel.

I've got two on the go atm, the BWC one and an Alba Botanica one. I like them both but prefer the Alba one, nice and creamy and gives good slip. No idea about the ingredients though.

Right now I'm loving KCKT as a leave in.....no glycerin, very little oils, mostly extracts, etc. My hair actually likes it as a rinse out too. And my hair is kinda picky about leave ins, there are very few things I can use that way. I also like John Masters Organics citrus neroli condish as a leave in.

I second the KCKT. I've never found a leave in with such good detangling properties.

Are any of these leave-ins good frizz fighters too?

Well on CJ's website, she mentions specifically that the CJ CA leave in is a good one for summer because of there aren't many humectants. But now I can't find the link where she says that. Maybe I read it on her blog? She does say under the product description that CA leave in is specifically for fighting humdity.
