Hmmmmm, well yes it will actually. Chlorine is very damaging and drying to hair. You would need to remove the chlorine from your hair every time you swim with a low poo. And I would get a real nice moisturizing condish if u dont already have one.

Ahh, I suffered through a month of swimming. Wait, I'm sorry, did I say I suffered? I should say, my hair suffered. It was terribly dry. I ditto what CurlayGirlay said, use a very moisturizing condish.
Plus, make sure to seal your moisture with well, sealants (oils, butters). Putting in lots of leave-in conditioner/sealers helped my hair to absorb less of the chlorine..
Good luck!!

Mmm...I can't guarantee that the CG method will make your hair frizz-free. Will it reduce frizz? Yes, because your hair will be getting more moisture. But I look like a frizz ball if I don't use any styling product! Going CG, along with using the right, silicone-free styling products, will get you the curls you want!
And like CurlayGirlay and Sandi said, sounds like you're going to need a low-poo to clean the chlorine out of your hair each time you swim. Giovanni Tea Tree Triple Treat has a lot of good reviews, and is known to clean really well! Use a nice thick moisturizing conditioner (Generic Value Products, or GVP, Conditioning Balm is awesome! I love it...very thick. Although I'm not on a swim team). Use lots of leave-in conditioner and after that seal it in!

Moisturizing conditioners range with prices and ingredients. You have just recently went curly, correct? That mean you have yet to identify your hair texture, porosity, and protein-sensitivity.. some very important things you should know.
A good cheap conditioner that has helped a lot of curlies is GF Triple Nutrition (it's in my siggy). It's pretty cheap, so it's not a huge investment if it doesn't work, but it hasn't failed many. I found it a great leave-in/sealer kind of thing, being that it's mostly just oils.

Aubrey Organics Swimmers shampoo and conditioner are both really good too. The shampoo is a low-poo and it works well to remove buildup. The conditioner is really moisturizing, but it does have protein in it. My hair loves it, but if you're protein sensitive it might not be so good for you
