baby wash with sulfates
I am new to cg and know that sulfates are bad...
My son is almost 8 months (his hair still looks straight) but the wash I use has Sodium Tridaceth Sulfate. It's Johnson's brand. Should I try to find something without this sulfate? Is there a baby wash without it?
Thanks!

I use California Baby (available at Target), Weleda, or Kiss My Face on my daughter. None of them have sulfates.

me too Jess, I'm so addicted to them. I look forward to showers and baths JUST for the excuse to use them. So lovely. I even picked some up for a baby gift for my sister in law, hope she loves them just as much.
do you do the bars or the jars?

A big jar lasts 2 of us about 6 weeks. You really don't need a lot at all. I like to buy us our own regular jars so everyone can pick their own scent.

I agree with Jess. Though I use the jars on 4 of us (shampoo for just my 6yr and I, shampoo and body wash for younger two). I probably use a little more than I need to, just because it feels so lovely lathering up in my hair

Sure does. I love it and it doesn't make my hair or body feel stripped at all. I'm placing my 5th order tomorrow. BTW Mamacurl, have you tried their bar soap or condish? I'm ordering the oatmeal brown sugar bar (SO prefers bars) and wanted some feedback if you had any.
OP sorry to guano

Jess, I haven't tried the bars yet. Though do have a sample of a bar she sent, that I've yet to try. I'll keep you posted. So far I've tried the jars..the coconut ones seem to be my fav so far, the yogurt souffle (brown sugar one, delicious and very moisturizing wonderful lotion), the sugar scrub (also VERY nice...have even done a foot scrub on my kids and dh's feet, they loved it).

I ordered the brown sugar and oatmeal bar. DD has sensitive skin and oatmeal bars have always helped. I ordered one for SO too so I'll try it. Pink sugar strawberry kisses has been my fave so far. Chamomile smelled good at first but after about 2 weeks took on the smell of regular soap. I got angel food cake this time but I'll prob go with some coconut next. It's waaaaaay too hard to choose. I'll definitely have t get some scrub in my next order since you recommend it. It was hard to resist this time but I already had so much in my cart.

I'm already itching for another order. I'd like to get some more souffle, I love that stuff.
I got a jar of the angel food cake too and that smells yummy! haven't tried it yet, but am anxiously waiting. I did the chamomile too and didn't really like it. Pure coconut paradise so far is my favorite coconut, the coconut marshmallow fluff was not as yummy as I expected. The coconut almond on the other hand....

Stop It! I haven't even received my order and you're making me want more. Glad to know the angel food cake smells yummy though. In the summer I ordered her after sun lotion too and it was wonderful. Perfect after a day at the beach.

Those Whispering Windz Farms products look great! I might have to try them out. I'm currently using an unscented Aveeno baby wash on my kiddos, but I don't think it's sulfate-free. We also use California Baby bubble bath because the two-year-old just isn't satisfied without bubbles in the bath, and it's gentle enough for his sensitive skin. It's a little pricey for us, but it's better than bathtime tantrums or irritated skin.
