OMG! BRHG!
I finally took the plunge and purchased this product after doing a swap on here. I cannot begin to say how pleased I am with my hair. My hair is shiny, curls well defined and bouncy. I wish I would have taken the plunge a long time ago and tried this gel. It would have saved me a tremendous amount of frustration. It is by far the best holding gel I've used. While it does dry very crunchy, I just diffuse once my hair is almost dry and SOTC. I can even get 2nd day hair; somthing I almost never can get with other products. And, no frizz! Thanks for the recs!

Yes,
I totally agree this stuff is great.
I was a little shocked at the price, but after my first use it was totally worth it. and I love the way it smells too.

BRHG for $7.99!!!
I just bought my first bottle of this yesterday and I can't wait to try it out.
FYI - I found it at a great bargain that I could not pass up -- $7.99 at HomeGoods (afilliated with TJMaxx & Marshalls)

I have a sample on its way and I can't wait to try it. My usual trusty gels (Biotera and Afroveda Gelly) have too light a hold for windy, rainy days. I had to learn this the hard way on Halloween night.
I sure hope I can find that great deal at HomeGoods if I like it. I have store credit from there burning a hole in my pocket.

Yes, BRHG is a little spendy, but I find that only a tiny amount is needed, so my bottle is lasting forever. I think I bought it in... May? June? And there's still 1/3 of the bottle left.

Just checking you did say HomeGoods??
I didn't know they had hair products there.
Did they have anything else of interest?
I just love the stuff... only gel I use.
If ya live in Florida they have it at Publix for $7.99 also.
I use alot at a time so it doesn't last a long time for me BUT fortunatly they always have it at Publix.
A little diffusing takes the crunch out and the shine remains. 2nd day hair is a given with this gel!!

Maybe this is a bit of a guano but...
Can you use BRHG with fine to medium 2b/2c hair? Or is it too much (weighs it down)?

I have fine 2B/3A curls and I use BRHG every day. It's a universally loved gel for many hair types.

How much do you, personally, use? (obviously, that may be different from person to person even with the same curl type/texture/porosity/etc.)

Yep, HomeGoods! I was suprised myself to find it there. It was with all the soaps & bath stuff. I'm going back to get more because I tried it and LOVED it! They also had large bottles of Moisture Maniac conditioner for a great price too.

BRHG, gotta love this gel. I ended up with some in a swap a couple of times...tried it and couldn't figure out how to use it and got rid of it twice. I gave it one more shot and wow! A little goes a long way. I use it to top off most product combos. It's definitely a keeper.

I use a pencil eraser-sized amount. My hair is thin, fine and chin-length. I use BRHG on top of KCCC for extra hold.

I love this stuff, it's been my HG gel for a few years now. You can find it for cheap online. The last time I bought it was off of Amazon- I got the large bottle and it worked out to what would be something like $7.00 for each small bottle.

Finally got some even thought I don't like the propylene glycol, parabens and pvp in it. I really liked it ( 2-3 pea-sized blobs) over AOMM; this combo is a winner! Great bounce, thickness and body all day! I will keep it in rotation.

I came across it in Walmart today so I picked it up. Won't be able to try it for a few days but excited to see what it does. Never used it before.

I really like using the BRHG. I only need a pea size amount when using FSG. It works great for hold and shine. The usual price I've seen here is 16.99 (CND), but I found it for 5.99 (CND) at a small salon! I bought a few at this price...
