Default How do you dry your hair?

Air dry
Plop
Diffuse
other?
just wondering. I air dry, though now that my hair is getting longer..it takes so darn long to dry! It's a pain leaving the house with wet hair, esp now that winter is on its way. AND I can't stand waiting until my hair is completely dry before scrunching out the crunch, hate walking around with crunchy unscrunched hair.
So, do you diffuse? Like it? love it? recommend it?

I wash my hair at night during the winter. I pineapple, and take it down in the morning and fluff it. It's not perfect, but it works for me during the cold months. The trick for me is using a lot of gel when my hair is dripping wet.

I scrunch to encourage my curls to curl, and then I air-dry. When I plopped or diffused, it tended to break up my curls and/or cause more frizz than air-drying.

I plop for about 10 min, diffuse for about 20 min and air-dry the rest of the way.

I air dry for 20 mins, diffuse for 20 and then air dry while on the subway to work. I SOTC when I get to work (I don't use any product to do it).

Wow: we air-dryers are winning??? I thought everybody diffused. Go figure!

I air dry as much as I can. If I'm in a hurry I'll diffuse. I don't plop.

I plop for 10-20 minutes, then air dry. Diffusing leaves me with too much frizz. But I also hate leaving the house with wet hair only to go into the bathroom after a few hours at work to SOTC. But I don't always like the way my curls look in the morning when I wash at night.

All 3, almost. Rather than plopping for a time, I squeeze drippies out with a curls like us cloth.

Plop and then diffuse - I could only vote for one option!

Oh how I wish it was warm enough here to air dry. But of course I'd also need the extra time.....

After cowashing, squishing in products and clipping, I sit under my Babyliss Pro thermal ionic hair dryer. It dries my chin length bob in about 30 minutes. Much better for me than diffusing or drip drying, since I don't mess with it.

I get the drips out with a towel (can't plop) air dry for about an hour then diffuse until dry. Sometimes I air dry all the way but I still diffuse when it's dry to SOTC.I voted diffuse as my hair's a stringy mess if I don't.

I scrunch out water with a flour sack towel after applying products....then diffuse for a bit and then let it finish by air drying.

So I picked other.

I highly suggest you try Del's Spritz and Condish technique; it's already cut at least 40 minutes off my air dry time (I only air dry, because my hair is too short for plopping and I don't leave enough time to diffuse in the morning).

It's not done drying but it's only been 2.5 hours and my hair is just very very lightly damp. Normally that's me at about 4 hours.

i have always been afraid of second day hair because it doesnt look as good as the first day. since it is winter and i hate the crunchy look and waiting for it to dry also, i pineapple my hair at night and it the morning i wet y bangs and top part of my head only.should be dry within 30 mins to and hour for scrunching, which is usually how long it takes me to get ready after i shower. With this method, i got my hair to look good for up to three days
