Question Hair Protectant

I've been flat ironing my hair for years without using any sort of protectant on it, and now I've decided I definitely need one. Can someone recommend products I can get at a local store like Wal*Mart?

I use Aveda's Brilliant Anti-Humectant and Beyond Zone's Turn Up the Heat Protectant during my Flat Iron. I purchased the Aveda product from an Aveda salon and the Beyone Zone producy from Sally's.

I also use a leave-in treatment to protect my hair during the blowdry. I like using Suave's Extreme Strenght Leave-in and Elasta Silk Thermal Liquid.I purchased the Suave product from Walmart and the Elasta product from Sally's.
