Default Hands coming from everywhere

Thanks ladies
I love their puffs, the only thing I don`t like is my oldest daughter`s friends squish and squeeze and touch her puffs.I mean hands all in her hair, she was a cheeta for halloween and i blew her hair out for her halloween dance. When we got there it was like moths to a flame... touching, patting. She doesn`t seem to mind, but it bugs me...idk.
I guess it does look like you should squish it a little..lol.she did win best costume though.

lol I remember talking about that with another group of ladies. Though most of them agreed that it is "just hair" and they don't mind. I know the kids at school touch my daughters hair, she tells me. On picture day I went along, towards the beginning of the school year so it was her first time wearing cornrows w/ beads and all of the kids started touching her beads and stuff. She told them to stop but they wouldn't so I had to say something. I'm not at all a mean person but I don't want people touching all over my daughters hair. lol Nice about her winning best costume!

Those puffs are amazing! I love them both. I got the single puff down to a science and I can't wait until I can do 2 puffs with my hair. I probably could now, but I don't want my puffs to look anemic!

Exclamation Need Help For 4a Fine Puffy Hair

Hi all-my best friend's white and her boyfriend is black and they need help with their 2 year old daughter's hair. They ask me cuz im biracial but im just transitioning from a relaxer (6 months in) so I'm learning too. Their lil girl has silky fine textured smaller then a pencil but bigger then a coffee stirrer curls. When her hair dries, it shrinks to half the lenght of wet and starts to get big and frizzy. I showed her how to co wash with HEHH and bought her jojoba oil and Ecostyler (the clear one) cuz that works for me. I also advised my best friend not to put mineral oil or petro based products in her hair. This is all contrary to what her boyfriend's family thinks. They slick this one cream that sez its coconut cream but the very last ingredient is coconut oil, otherwise the preceding 10 ingredients are mineral oil, petroluem, etc.. So anyways, my friend sez she can tell a difference in her daughter's hair-that its easier to detangle, less tangles (told her to wet her hair daily and leave in HEHH), softer and not as frizzy. Plus when they put it in 5 lil braids the braids actually curled up on themselves to form a curl, where before using the method I told her to use, they would hang. However she would like to have it even less frizzy and not get big when she leaves it outr It sounds like her hair needs more moisture and something to weigh it down but I dont know what..can you help? My hair is coarse and big waves but frizz isn't a problem so Im not sure what products to look at for her daughter. any advice would be appreciated.

i wouldn't use ecostyler clear on the baby's hair. it has the strongest hold of all the ecostyler gels. matter of fact, i wouldn't use gel at all. my baby is 17 mos old. i use raw shea butter or palm oil on her hair. sometimes i use oyin's burnt sugar pomade. i also don't use products with silicones in her hair (just like my hair). i use trader joe's nourish spa to cowash her hair. i give her oil rinses with canola oil every few months.

My dd is 13 & is having puff envy--lol. I told her in time she'll have enough new growth to rock puffs, too.
