Default Eeekk!!! My hair is turning brown!!!

I have noticed this quite recently while out in the sun...my hair is turning brown. I was born with jet black hair (that is what my mom continues to tell me). When I used to get my hair relaxed my hair did the same thing...went from black to brown. Has anyone experienced their hair turning brown. I just want to make sure it is not damage or something of that nature.

I do not use any chemicals on my hair. The only products that I currently use includes: unrefined shea butter, kosher glycerin, organic extra virgin olive oil, natural grapeseed oil, Carol's Daughter loc butter (rarely), Trader Joe's Nourish Spa Shampoo, EO Lavendar and Aloe Conditioner, Whole Foods 365 Citrus Conditioner. Before that I use to use Carol's Daughter Black Vanilla Leave-In, Carol's Daughter Healthy Hair Butter, Carol's Daughter Mimosa Hair Honey.

There is nothing wrong with brown hair . I am just wondering why my hair is changing colors, lol.

i know in my family our hair turns red or reddish brown in the summer.. my friend told me its the sun drying out my hair or sun damage or something like that. I was never sure if it was getting into the pool a lot or the sun. I know with colored hair people try to avoid summer sun to keep their color from changing. If you live in a hot or sunny climate it may just be the sun. try using a conditioner or leave in with spf

My sister's hair has always been what I call a "dirty blonde" and now she has locks and the tips of her locks are now a "sun-kissed" bronze. I thought she dyed her hair, but she said she it just happened over the course of the summer being out in the sun. *kanye shrug*

My hair turns really auburn in the sun & summer time.
I've heard for black hair you should wash your hair with blue conditioner or take some blue dye and mix it with the conditioner because light/white conditioner lightens black hair.

Go for Aveda Black shampoo or for the very blueish shades of black, Manic Panic's Blue shampoo.

I hope I helped a little.
