Day 11 w/ Pictures!
So it's been 11 days since I started. My hair seems to have a lot more moisture, but not too much more "curl/wave" to it. My hair gets wavier/curlier the longer it gets, so I am currently growing it out.
I have attached a pre CG picture (not the best though), day 2 shots, and shots from today.
(I have to do 2 posts because they have a max of 5 pictures.)

Looks great! I think that your wave looks more defined in the latter pics.

Thank you! I can't wait for it to get longer so the waves can really come out.

Very pretty! Just think of all those women who try to get that pretty wavy look with a curling iron...and we get it naturally!

You all just made my day with the comments!!! Thank you
I read yesterday that someone (I think it may have been goobernut, but I can't find the post, sorry) said she didn't do a rinse out CO after her co-wash, she just left the co-wash in her hair while she finished her shower then rinsed it out and that was it. So, I tried it this morning and styled as usual. I like the results. I think I have a little more definition today. Sorry I can't remember who said it, but thanks for the tip.
Now I know I don't have to use a co-wash and a rinse out everyday. I can't get rid of the rinse out all together, but maybe every other day will be fine.

I have to admit that I have always had shiny hair, no matter what I did to it (CG may be helping a little, but I've never really had that problem of no shine). Even when I would blow dry and flat iron everyday - shiny. The only thing that would make my hair dull was using creams. This was pre-CG, so I'm not sure if it was just the ingredients, but my hair did NOT like them. So, now I stick with gels.

LOL! I THOUGHT we might be hair twins! Mine is exactly the same way...always fairly shiny and healthy no matter what I did to it. The thing I like about CG is that now the curls/waves are more defined and it's so much EASIER not having to blow dry AND straighten every day!

I couldn't have been the one who helped hehe. I don't co-wash. I only loo-poo. Or well, I do the Spritz and condish method. So I always use some kind of low-poo when I get in the shower. I have a tendency to be on the oily side.

Maybe it was gekko - I thought it began with a "g".

Exactly! It's pretty shiny and healthy most of the time. I can only remember a couple of times when it wasn't as shiny...when I got highlights (NEVER again), and when I used creams.
It is much easier not having to blow dry and flat iron everyday. I love it. I am also a "keep it simple" person - I feel my hair always looks better that way. I never used styling products before unless I was going "curly", just shampoo and condition, then blow dry and flat iron. When I went CG I had no desire to add so many different routines and products, so I started simple. I figured it was better to start simple/less expensive and love it/dislike it, rather than starting complicated and expensive and fall in love and not want to try simpler/less expensive things. Am I making sense?
I also didn't want to spend a ton of time on my hair...I have a 14 month old son and I work full-time so I have limited time with him and I didn't want to give up any of it, nor did I want to spend all of my "me" time worrying about my hair.
