Default Making round eyes look almond

I've decided that my round eyes would look nicer almond. I've tried concentrating mascara on the outer lashes, but I'm not sure what else I can do. Any ideas?

Eyeliner. With a tail.

Sorry. I couldn't help myself. I had to giggle.

But really, just add a little tail at the end of the eyeliner... it should help shape the eye.

Line the top lashes and then wing it out just a bit. You can wing it out further for a more dramatic look.

Or wear false lashes on the top only.

You can also apply liner on the bottom waterline (inner rim). That closes your eyes in to enhance the effect.

Lastly, and this is tougher to do, you can create a false bottom lashline by, instead of following your lashes, drawing the line where/how you want it to look then use whitish e/s to "fill in" the space. Yes, it's a dramatic look, but if you're daring...

I'll look for a YT vid to show you how.

Edit: Here are 2 vids...They are meant to be super-dramatic, but they're just to show you what I mean. You don't have to do it as dramatically as they did.

when putting liner on, don't draw the liner to the edge of your eye lid. as CM said, do a little tail (checkmark) at the outside end, but make sure it starts above the point where your lid ends so you aren't circling around.

it's going to take some practice!
