Default New haircut!

I got my hair cut today by a Deva trained stylist! She truly seemed excited that I found her through this website, and she was so happy that I had already been following the CG method for two weeks before I went in for a cut. She said my hair was already looking really nice, and she was especially pleased that my ends looked pretty healthy.

Now, because I'm pretty much a wavy, she didn't do the "curl by curl" type of cut. I was actually a little nervous before I went in about how she might do that, because my curls aren't super well-defined in most places. She took just a very little off the ends and took the fullness out of the sides (she said I had a "diamond" look going on, which you can see in the "before" picture). She also cut a few layers in the back. I must say, I am pretty darn happy with it! I love the height I've got on top from the clipping she did, I just hope I can replicate that by myself! The only thing I didn't like: the Deva products. Don't care for the smell, and I thought they made my hair a little "producty" feeling. But the stylist didn't pressure me AT ALL about buying products! LOVED HER!! Now to let it grow a few more inches!

Awesome! She really did a great job of shaping up your hair. You do have great volume at your roots.

I'm glad you're happy with it too.

Agreed! I too suffer from diamond head. Geez I can't believe I said "suffer" and "diamond" in the same sentence..what am I thinking

I love the cut! Your hair looks full but not poofy, very shiny and healthy and I think the evening out of the kind of diamond shape really plays up your face shape and eyes!

Very nice!! Clearly a good match for stylist!
