Well, sometimes it slips out. It's just a word...not necessarily a word to used in polite company but sure is a good expletive to get your mood across!

I think that on "those days" you are entitled to use any of the most colorful metaphors you can come up with. I'm sure your Mom understands, if she's never said it before...she's no doubtedly thought it

WTF is the problem? It's a good word.

oh I agree RCW, it is a great word.
I actually feel like the bond between my Mom and I strengthened once we became comfortable mumbling the f-bomb around each other

I probably DO use it around my mom, but I'd be mortified if I said it around my dad.

I use it all the time around my Mom. If it offends her, she doesn't let on. I think she may find it amusing.

I use it all the time in front of my mum, my mother in law, my husband's family etc. What is the point in making a good impression if its fake? The only people I don't use it in front of is my Grandma and my hubby's Grandma because I honestly think they would have heart attacks

My parents don't like me to curse because they think it's "unladylike."

My brother, on the other hand, swears like a sailor and they don't say a word.

To that I declare: F*ck that sh*t.

And sometimes words do slip out. Oh, well!

I think I've cussed in front of my father, while driving...probably "sh@t!!" or "Gd Dammit!" But, here's a funny one...my mother used the f-word in front of me. Mom!!! She was quoting someone else, but still. So, sometimes I bring it up to her. Can't let her live that one down. She's such a goody two shoes.

Ha! That happened with my mom once too. While on vacation, my dad accidentally packed her shoes she put out and she said "SH*T!". I swear the earth stopped moving for a moment. Its still the only time I ever heard her swear!

Yep, done that in front of mom. And dad too. Oops.
I try not to tho. It just makes me uncomfortable to curse in front of my parents even tho they don't say anything when I do. My dad curses so it's not like they've never heard it before.
