Curly Kryptonite
Am I the only one here who gets a bit disturbed when one of my hair idols/vets is having a hard time hairwise?
It kinda makes me uneasy, which is unfair; I guess I kinda expect them to know it all and not get flummoxed.
I'm just saying....

Actually, in an odd way, it helps me out. Not that I want people to have bad hair days, or go around frustrated with their hair.
I think we tend to idolize some of these peeps with gorgeous hair! We see these perfect pictures all the time and if they post because they are having a hard time with something, it makes me feel like maybe I'm not doing so bad if even "soandso perfect hair" is having a bad hair day.
I re-read that, and it sounds like I'm being very malicious. But I'm not! Honest!

The only oil my hair digs is coconut.

Well, it actually helps me to know I'm not the only one who gets frustrated and that even the best heads of hair here all go through bad hair days or sometimes even bad hair weeks! Makes me feel better knowing that at times that's how it is in the curly world and not just me "not gettin' it".

I agree. It helps me feel not so helpless with bad hair and when nothing is working for me! It helps me realize we all struggle with our hair from time to time!

lol I know what you're saying. Like you said, it's like a never ending cycle. If they don't get it, WE'LL never get it :\ I guess it shows that everyone has bad hair days, even the ones with the best hair in the curl-world
