"Pineapple" is just a cute name for gathering your hair in a loose ponytail on top of your head so that the curls don't get smashed while you sleep. We aren't actually suggesting you rest your head on tropical fruit.

I always sleep with a pineapple on my hair while they're wet - next day they're so curly, and so unfrizz!

Is it bad to pineapple on wet hair? My hair takes half a day to dry and I wash it at night so I'm just asking. I usually try to wait until its mostly dry but it takes forever!
