Try Lustrasilk Cholesterol (I like the Olive Oil one). Its at Sallys and it is well within your budget since its only about 2-3 dollars!

+1! I use Lustrasilk, also. 20 oz tub for $2.89! Works well, and it's silicone-free. I've heard that Walmart has it too. But be sure that you don't have any Sally Beauty Supply stores around you...I used to think that also, but when I did some research, I found that I had 3-4 of them within 15 minutes of my home!
Giovanni Direct Leave-in is also pretty popular, and silicone free. About $8, and can be found at Target (in natural hair and body care section...in mine it's close to Alba body care and Say Yes to Carrots/Cucumbers/Tomatoes hair stuff). It's also at most Beauty Supply stores, and Health food stores.

Giovanni Direct Leave-in is great! It costs me about $8 CDN at wal-mart, but it lasts a really long time.

Dollar General sells it also and it's about $2.50. If you don't have a Sally's you might want to try there.

I love GDLI too, but it's very thick so there's a possibility of weighing your hair down if your hair doesn't like thick conditioners. Good luck!

Ugh, I went to one of our Walgreens today and it had just about every Yes to Cucumbers product there EXCEPT the leave-in conditioner. Guess I can try the other one. Any idea of what other stores carry the Yes To products??

I don't know where you live but Vons carries it in California at many of the stores as does Ralph's (Von's here has more)..I think it's also called Safeway or Pavillions..so maybe check your local grocery store?

Thank you! We don't have any of those stores up here (I'm in northern NY state), but I'm going to check some of the other drugstores up here like Rite Aid. Maybe Target & Price Chopper, too. Thanks for the help, though!

John Masters Organics Citrus/Neroli Detangler and BWC have been HG for me for years.

Hey you're in northern NY state, there is a Sally's in Plattsburgh and one in Massena. I live in Quebec, Canada just at the NY border and went to Massena yesterday (1 hr drive) because I've started using and really Luving Biotera products. I bought LOOC and will do a DT tonight. Can't wait to see the results as it's wildly popular with Curly Girls.
For a leave-in I'm currently using Garnier Fruictis Sleek and Smooth. It works well for me. I`m going to try LOOC in the next couple of days to see if it makes a difference.

Oooo, me too!
I use a pea size of suave coconut and it seems to work pretty good.
