I wanted so badly to keep my curls in winter, but the weather just is hopeless. Wind and rain. I gave up and did a roller set. It still looks horrible in this weather, but less horrible than the curls, to be honest.

I'm just not sure what products work best for a rollerset. I tried Curlisto Structura Lotion and my hair was pouf city. Not willing to use a flat iron yet - I'm sure I'd burn myself. I'll be reading this forum to see what you all recommend.

I use Lottabody for my rollersets. I think the key to a good rollerset is letting them dry all the way. If there is frizz, they weren't dry when you took them out. Do you have a hair bonnet dryer? I have to sit underneath it for about 2 hours.

I just saw your response - you make a good point. I definitely need to let my hair dry all the way when I rollerset. I'm doing a rollerset in winter because otherwise I need to wet my hair every other day to make it look decent, and even my 2nd day hair looks lousy. I prefer my curls but I just don't have time to wet it every day so it's rollersets for me, for now.

I don't know, but I'm definitely becoming exasperated. That wind! It blows everything good out of my drying method and turns my waves into lank, sloppy, strands of yuck.

I had a little fit this morning when I just knew my hair was being ruined by the wind. I walked into Ulta saying "Godammmit!"

I hope no one heard.

Wash and go always worked for me , i'd put a leave in conditioner on it.
