Best Inexpensive Heat Protectants
I want to straighten my hair but I want to minimize the possibility of heat damage as much as possible.
What are some really good heat protectants that aren't too expensive? |
I think any heat protectant that contains a good amount of silicones will be your best option, which opens up, well, everything really. There are some CG heat protectants but I really think it's the silicone aspect of other products that give it that "protecting" quality.
I know Sally's has some GVP heat products that are inexpensive, so I'd start there. |
I use ors heat protectant serum as well as tresseme heat tamer. The serum was ok but i wanted adequate protection so i used a generous amout which led to my straightened being very greasy. So i tried tresseme which is a spray. I was $2.99 at target. I do use alot but it never makes my hair greasy or heavy. Hope this helps.!

I LOVE Garnier's blow drying cream along with thier anti frizz serum for straightening. Makes my hair soft, smooth and shiny. also mix it with a little avocado oil for some added conditioning.
