Question Relaxing the mane: How do I go about this?

the following picture is my hair:

it is very curly and very thick and I would really like looser curls. I have never tried relaxing my hair, and straightening my hair is way too time consuming. I just want looser curls!

should I go to a salon, or use a home relaxer? please help! I just want to know how I should go about this

Default Don't relax, use keratin straightening

Hair relaxers use very strong chemicals that can ruin your hair. Home relaxers are especially risky if they're not done properly.

You've probably already heard about Brazilian blowouts which use keratin to straighten and relax hair, although these were also found to be risky for health. I know about a Cocoa Keratin System which is much safer than Brazilian blowout but works just as well. It's very easy to use and it comes with everything you need to keep your hair straight and healthy. If you want to know more then get back to me and I'll try and find the link

I think it's safe to have it professionally done for the first time. After that, you can learn to touch up your new growth.
