Straightening Curls for wedding.. CG product help?

Hi!

I'm going to my best friends wedding and I'd like to straighten my hair. I don't really want to use any products that have silicones in them.

I just bought Organix Moroccan Smooth Perfection Blow Out Cream
Ingredients: Deionized Water, PVP, Cetearyl Alcohol (and) Ceteareth-20, Isopropyl Myristate, Polyacrylamide (and) C13-14 Isoparaffin (and) Laureth-7, Diazolidinyl Urea (and)Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate, Argania Spinosa (Argan) Kernel Oil, Fragrance, FD&C Yellow #5, FD&C Red #17.

I don't think I see any silicones... but I'd love another set of CG eyes or any recommendations on a cone-free product.

Thanks so much!!!

The blow out cream is CG. I never use mine and ended up pouring it down the drain (kept the bottle). Now I wish I hadn't thrown it out. The Curls line has an elixir that is suppose to help with heat protection. There's also the something Heritage line at Target that has a heat protectant spray. Sally's has a heat protectant spray (GVP), but I didn't like it.

Thanks so much for your reply and the other suggestions. I'm doing a practice straightening run tomorrow to see how it goes!

Straightening and smoothing hair

Have you ever heard of using a conditioner for a smoothing cream? I use John Frietas blonde hair conditioner everyday. I don't use it for highlights but it helps to smooth it out. I don't rinse it out just put it on and leave it.
