Gel makes it curl up.

Spritz makes it dry, hard, AND frizzy.

I've tried that Olive Oil Edge Control stuff but I'm not very impressed...

I HATE how those areas contrast with the rest of my hair...but I'm very loath to keep going over them w/the flat iron because it's very damaging.

Any suggestions? Thanks

You can do a wrap at night cause I notice when I don't do a wrap, my edges turn crazy. Or you can grab a brush and while you are brushing, hairspray it.

If you use only the slightest amount of a thicker jam-type gel with a toothbrush that may work. I know Kenra 10 and 5 worked fabulous for edges but they have cones. Also, jojoba oil while straightening keeps my hair quite smooth. Then just a lite rub of it with a toothbrush works great for me.

Whenever I flat iron my hair I use a small flat iron. It's like maybe 6 inches long and relatively thin which allows me to get those baby hairs in the front.
