CHI smart volumizing styling iron

Has anyone tried the CHI smart volumizing styling iron? QVC sells it. In my everlasting search for some way to do my hair quickly that looks good I just bought it.

I need to find a hairstyle that doesn't have to be rewet every day so curly styles aren't working for me. I can get a nice style if I do a roller set but it takes forever to dry.

Please respond if you have tried it.
2/c and some 3A. Modified CG.
Protein sensitive
Highly porous. Color over grey.
Best 1st day method: Super Soaker
Conditioners: Curl Junkie Beauticurls Strengthening Conditioner,
Deep condish: Curl Junkie Curl Rehab
Stylers: Mix Curls in a Bottle into everything for shine. Terrible pj
Sometimes try roller sets - classic glamor but I prefer my curls.
Every day is a gift
No responses yet, but I got the CHI from QVC (wow - are they fast!) and I was considering sending it back because I was afraid I would burn myself, but this morning my hair was a disaster so I tried it.

It saved me from a dreadful hair day. I did everything I could think of to get pretty curls which I needed today, but my curls wouldn't cooperate. Huge poufy mess even though the dews are low. I was desperate.

I only used the lowest setting on the CHI and it worked really well. I think it is much less likely to burn me than I realized, even though I can be tres klutzy. Very easy to use. I give it thumbs up. Definitely keeping it.

If you try it, please let me know what you think. It's expensive, but worth it - especially if you are pressed for time and you just know it's going to be a horrible hair day.

Well, my second try with this turned my hair to straw. Now I'm sorry I bought it. Another failure.
