Poofy hair due to humidity and sweating?

Whenever I straighten my hair I usually am able to get it bone straight but after 30 mins or so it wont look as straight anymore..maybe its its because I continuously run my fingers through it due to the fascination of how straight it is? Then when I go outside it poofs a little more..and when I sweat it just curls right back up. how can I be sure that my hair will stay sleek and bone straight so that it wont get poofy or curl up?
Honestly you can't, that us why so many people use relaxers or keratin straightening. You need to get all the water out of the hair and keep it out which is seriously unhealthy for hair and next to impossible to maintain if there is any humidity.

You can try reducing the overall porosity of your hair with overnight coconut oil soaks on dry hair, avoiding humectants in your conditioners and stylers, get your hair bone dry before straightening, use anti humectants/ sealants like silicones or natural oils after straightening.
