CERAMIC FLAT IRON DISASTER!!!!

If you go to my hair album in my home page it's say something about my hair being damaged that is because of me using a ceramic flat iron, and now it's broke off, I grew my hair for a year and used the ceramic flat iron, then it broke it off alot! Also, the waves and curls are not really there anymore, have any suggestions on what I should do to revert my hair back to it's natural state???? If u can PLEASE HELP!!! Also,I have a hair album, as u see I don't know what hair type I really am,(HAIR RESEMBLES ALICIA KEYS OR AMEL LARRIUX,BOTH SINGERS),so if u look at my album tell me what u think!!! THANK U 2 WHOMEVER HELPS ME, BECAUSE THIS IS SERIOUSLY A CRISIS.......

It doesn't look too bad actually. There's still a lot of curl to it, though I see it doesn't have quite the "boing" it does in the previous pics.

I can only suggest a couple of things:

1. Get to a Sally's and pick up sample packs of a couple of different deep treatments, try a different one each time until you find one that has the effect you like. I like the Aphogee one, it claims to be a keratin reconstructor or something like that. It's in a white bottle/packet with purple writing(they also have red and blue, but the purple one is the serious stuff!). All I know is I used it on a lady I used to know, she had waves before but after I put the Aphogee on her she had spirals and it was much softer. I use it every so often because I iron my hair all the time, and I've yet to have breakage problems even with the crap I put my hair through. Everyone's hair is different but I can only recommend what I've seen work with my own eyes. A warning, though, the Aphogee doesn't smell nice. I follow it with St. Ives' minty shampoo so my head smells like candy canes.

2. When you iron, put the stuff on the hair before you iron, not after, and not grease. Something with silicones that says it's for use with heat. There are several products like this out there now that are for protecting hair from heat. I like Citre Shine but the Ion brand is also a good one and they have a heat-protection spray that's pretty reasonably priced, also at Sally's.

3. It's getting into fall/winter now and every curly head changes with the weather now, so, maybe switch to a winter product routine now?

Also when I straighten my hair I just put pink oil sheen moisterizer on and that's it, but when my hair's curly I put hair grease(I see now that I shouldn't though!) Is the Aphogee just a deep treatment because u mentioned when u put it on someone's hair it changed there hair from just wavy to really curly and wavy?

Aphogee's definitely not like some of the other deep treatments out there. The woman I tried it on, she had curls that she brushed out, dyed a lot, etc, and the Aphogee revived them. Also I put Super Sexy Styling Sauce on her hair and that kept her style for a couple of days.

Grease + iron = not safe, if you put grease on a pan and heat it it will scorch....I don't know why silicones work but they do. I think they can handle more heat or something.
