I need to invest in a good flat iron that:

1) gives long-lasting results for curly/coarse 3b hair

2) doesn't pull or snag hair

3) makes straightening faster and easier

4) causes the least amount of damage

5) will hold up for a long time

What do you recommend?

I have nothing but good to say about the Sedu iron. My hair is a fuzzball until I control it with the Sedu. Other irons pulled my hair out and took forever to straighten with them but not the Sedu. It's awesome.

I know there are so many out in the market that's it's hard to know what to get and trust. Good luck deciding.

Thank you for the advice. I've heard lots of good things about the Sedu flat iron. I currently use a Jibere, and it's nothing special. I really want to invest in a good flat iron, and I think I may decide to go with the Sedu.

I have purchased at least a dozen hair straighteners in the last few years and NONE even come close to being as good as my new Sedu. Try it. I was skeptical but it really is terrific!

maxiglide i love!.. it got my hair so straight than other flat irons i have used over the years and i never got any damage from it ..but i havent used it since i started the CO method in may.
