Working out and keeping your hair straight

Hi everyone,

I have 3b-3c hair that I do an Anti curl to. I LOVE my hair straight. I've tried to love it curly but it just doesn't look right on me.

I straighten my hair but I also run 3 times a week. During the times I run I have to pull it in a bun b/c no matter how much I try to keep it straight, it just doesn't happen.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to maintain your hair during the days you work out?

I know for me, I have to tie a bandana around my hair to keep out the moisture. It's pulled into a high bun on top of my head first. It works decently. Sometimes, I still have to touch up afterwards.

Current Routine:

Shampoo- GTTT, GVP Paul Mitchell Tea tree Shampoo or ACV/ Baking soda (once a week)
Co wash- Trader Joes Nourish Spa
Leave in- Shea Moisture Shea Butter leave- in, Elucence
Gel- BRHG

Holy grail combo Feb 2013: ISO Bouncy Creme with BRHG on top!
I have the same problem! I work out 4 times a week and every time the bottom gets curly. My workouts are pretty strenuous, so I get icky sweaty. haha. The best thing I have found to do so far is keeping it off of my neck and using a head band. So I look like a palm tree, but it helps.

Thank you all for your advice.

I actually had the BKT done in Florida about 2 weeks ago. My boyfriend found a brazilian girl that does the treatment from her house so it ended up being cheaper then it would here in New Jersey. I LOVE IT!!! I work out and my hair is still straight and soft the next day. Between washing my hair I spray dry shampoo.

My next task is to find someone in NJ that does the BKT treatment for a reasonable price and not the $400 they were asking me for before.
