In fact, because I'm between trims and color right now, I have been wearing my hair straight, because it gets too much to deal with just now, all the waiting for it to dry, the gel, the products, the scrunching, etc. I'm going to keep it straight till I can get it sorted out. It won't harm it at all -- I don't even need to use a dryer. It straightens out easily, especially now it is longer.

However, I have not forgotten my curly "roots"!

I agree. When I wash my hair out after I flat iron it, the curls are more relaxed and uniform. I thought it was just me...but I guess this is just a fact, not a fluke!
