Oops, just realized you said 'downtown toronto'. Try Toronto Barber on Bay and Dundas (call first b/c I'm not too sure they carry it).

Also, for GTAers, if you're in the yonge and eglinton area, there's a place on yonge 2 blocks north of eglinton called Delineation that sells CHS, Deva, Denman brushes, and lots of other products!
Currently loving:
Deva Red One Condition
Nexxus Emergencee
Deva HIH
GDLI
KCCC

I love Delineation!! I also order my Elucence Moisturizing Conditioner for www.hairandbodydirect.com. It is CDN!!
My hair is naturally a combination of 3B/3C. No longer texturized. All natural! CG Routine: Devapoo, One condition or Elucence. Loving curl creams: AG Recoil, Mop Curl Cream, KMS Curl Cream and never without CK. Gels: HE SMU and KCCC with a little BRHG on top.
I'm from the USA but now live in Canada. There's a Sally's by my house and they had way more variety than the Sally's in my hometown.

I also love Beauty Supply Outlet.

I've been up and down Yonge Street regularly and haven't seen it.
It's between Yonge and Bloor/ Yonge and Wellesley. Just south of Isabella St. I don't think they have a sign up right now but it's conjoined with something called Altius or Atlantis or something.

Also, anyone looking for the CHS line, there's a little health food store on Charles St next to Rabba (between Yonge and Bay) that sells it!

If you want to purchase all of the latest curly hair products, like Mixed Chicks, Kinky-Curly, Blended Beauty etc, in Canadian dollars either online or in person, visit www.honeyfig.com! They just opened up a store in Toronto at Yonge and Sheppard (4967 Yonge Street) where these brands and many more are being sold. Plus they ship from Toronto or the U.S. if you live there. It's my favourite site and place to shop for curly products!

Cheers!

If you are anywhere close to Brampton, Ont. you can pick up Henna's cheap. I found "Superior quality Jamila" (by Amid and Company) today for $1.99 in an Indian grocery. It is the one in the clear cellophane pouch (no expiration date) similar to whats on this site.

If you want the fresh crop 2008 Henna I found a distributor in Brampton that ships to Canada and U.S.:

Phone: 905-230-4651

Jamila: 100g $8.50
amla powder: 400g $8.25
indigo: 100 g $8.50

The more you buy, the less it costs per product. ie. 200g of Jamila is $7.50 ea.

I've been on here for a couple of weeks now and am excited to find out there is a section for us Canadian gals. I looked for Suave naturals at my local SDM but they didn't have it! Very upsetting. I wish I lived near the GTA because I know I'd be able to get better products without having to shop online and pay a lot for shipping. Has anyone purchased online from curlmart? I did and the shipping cost more than the product! I couldn't believe it! I'm a southern ontario girl.
I just bought a microfiber head towel from Shoppers Drug Mart for 7.50! I thought I'd have to order one online for 15-20 bucks.

It's microfibre, wraps easily around my head with a button at the front for securing. I swear, it soaks up the water out my head in like 20 minutes! And I have a heck of a alot of hair so it's definetely big enough. You can even sleep on it!

I bought it at the Shoppers on Rexdale.
