has devacurl products!
I went home for a visit in June (I live in the US now) and found this wonderful store and owner Noelle Smith. She is very knowledgeable about the DevaCurl line of products and will teach you how to use them. She's naturally curly too!
Apparently they are the only store that has the DevaCurl products in Canada!

Hi, Here is a link of many sites that sells ingrediants to make your own hair products and stuff.

There are only two canadian sites (CA) on the list. The last canadian site on the list has cheap shipping( I just order from them. You can only know the shipping cost of your products when they contact you and the same thing goes for the other canadian site).

Only the second canadain site sells cationic surfactants that is needed to make a conditioner.

The sites that has number 2 beside them are the ones that has many ingrediants to make shampoos ,conditioners, and etc.

Ps: Some sites don't mention which ingrediants are/are not compatible with each other and give warnings when using an ingrediant /making products( like not going over a certain temperature because you could kill yourself....) so it is good to check other sites that gives important info about these ingrediants......

Here is another canadian site but they only sell few ingrediants. They have a minimum order of 35$ for canadians but they charge 5$ if you go under the minimum order of 35$.

edit: I don't like how the customer service doesn't respond about issues.i don't like cellulose gum because it makes my hair white.i prefer to use carbomer to make gels....

this site has cheaper shipping for canadians now:

Hey all,
Once again I'm struggling to give my money to a company (honey fig) that will not even respond to e-mails. I know I've posted this concern once before but it's happened several times to me. I must be crazy for giving them my money and I will look at other options for ordering in Canada. Has anyone else had this experience? Perhaps it's just me and bad luck but I think my ordering days are over.

Thanks Frizzly,
Wouldn't it be nice to have more places to choose from. It would be nice to pay lower prices as well. Maybe we need to start something!! hehe
I live in Vancouver and this past summer I had a really hard time finding reasonably priced jojoba oil. A lot of "normal" stores carry coconut oil, etc but don't have jojoba oil. Lots of health food stores and Whole Foods sell pure jojoba oil but at really high prices! Usually a 4oz bottle is priced at $16 (I know the exact same brands sell for about $8 in the US).

Anyways, after lots of googling, I found this site:
http://www.soapcraft.ca/index.html

The jojoba oil can be found under the "base oils and butters" section. I got a 8oz bottle for about $10 plus $7 shipping. The shipping fee was the minimum for small packages within Canada (Canada post) but I bet if you buy larger bottles, you will probably be able to still use that shipping price so it will be an even better deal!
So overall I paid about the same price as if I had bought it at a health food store but got twice as much jojoba oil!

P.S. Random fact: I use jojoba oil as a face moisturizer because I have very sensitive skin with pores that clog easily if I use drugstore moisturizers.
Holly8, thought the highlighted part of your below statement was sooooo funny!

I have to put in another positive review for Honey Fig! I just ordered KCCC, KCKT, a bunch of CJ products, and a 4 oz. bottle of CK...but they had JUST run out of CK, so they gave me Curls Goddess Glaze (twice the size and costs twice as much) instead, which I was thinking of ordering anyway. They also sent me a complimentary shower gel priced at $16, and samples of Devacare AnGel and Arc Angel. I'm pretty pleased because the replacement product and the samples I got were ones I had almost ordered!

does anyone in TO know where I can get my hands on some Joico K-pak chelating shampoo? I've seen a few of their other products but not the chelating shampoo.
