Default Canadians: Where to buy products while living in Canada

Seems like there are so many threads on this. Can we just have one that we can easily refer to? Difficult being a Canadian PJ

Giovanni Products

-selected Shoppers Drug Mart stores.
-very few health food stores in Canada.

Called Giovanni and they provided distributors. They said it has been discontinued at Loblaws.

In Toronto for $11.00 can get Giovanni Direct Leave in:

The Big Carrot Natural Food Market
348 Danforth Avenue
Toronto, Ontario M4K 1N8
416.466.2129

This is a Canadian site that sells Giovanni Direct for $8.99.
http://www.canadianvitality.ca/category/637439

Aubrey Organics
-store locator near you throughout Canada

http://aubrey-organics.com/about/stores/stores.cfm

They also sell it at The Big Carrot Natural Food Market as mentioned above.

Kinky Curly

-only Canadian location is in Toronto.

SheaMoisture shea butter leave-in conditioner (SheaM)

I bought on Ebay...$9.00 plus shipping.

This was my actual cost through Ebay:

(Bought 2) SheaMoisture shea butter leave-in conditioner:

US $9.00 each

Subtotal: US $18.00
Shipping and handling via UPS Standard To Canada:
US $12.61

Total: US $30.61

Found out afterwards I could have gotten it elsewhere for cheaper. Bargainside has it for $5.99. Beauty of New York not much different at $6.49. I heard Beauty of New York charges a lot for shipping compared to other places but I'm not sure:

Bargainside

Thank you both for such wonderful information. I am new to embracing my curls and so envious of all the products that are mentioned but are not available to us. This is a great resource. I did stumble upon the constancebodyandbath for jessicurl. I am still searching for the perfect routine which I know will take time and not sure if cg will be right for me.

Yes...check the store locator on the Sallys website:
http://stores.sallybeauty.com/canada/locator.aspx

Problem is that a lot of the stuff sold in the U.S. Sallys is not sold in the Canadian Sallys.

I find that the Health food section in Loblaws has a lot of the Giovanni products as well as a bunch of other all natural lines...

I doubt it's just my Loblaws.

thanks for all the other info...

Is there any where else to buy Kinky Curly products besides Curl Ambassadors in Toronto. I do not mind buying from the internet as long as its a Canadian site, just hate paying duty/customs and I do not live near Toronto. Thanks.
