Hot Tools or Chi Flat Irons in France ?

I was in NY recently and saw that the Hot Tools Flat Iron "seems" to be made in France (that's what it said on the box...)- but where can i get it over there? There is no Internet listing for the company. I live there, and there are only like 7 flat irons available to the general public and they are all poor quality, low wattage, etc.. Or a Chi?
