Hello all!
I'm a UK newbie - well kind of new - i have been reading the posts for a while now but decided to sign up today so i could reply to the CG product list post.

Had to share my latest discovery; a great little website I came found in one of my desperate, late night random searches for UK based CG products - ironsun organics http://ironsunorganics.co.uk

They only sell "Made in the UK" CG products (except for 2 of them i think) and only natural or organic or both. I have to tell you, i was quite surprised to see the selection, i never thought you could get stuff like that here!

Anyway, check them out, i plan to get the hair milk or the deep hair repair (but not before the end of the month if ya know what i mean).

I think i like this....will definately contribute more to this forum!

has anybody ever tried jason's aloe vera gel? is there any good? what other AVG gels have you tried? my hair responds well to AVG but i'm running out of my current one and need to buy a new one. Also, i saw some essential oils at a health shop called Revital. Where do you people get essentials oils? or should i pick holland and barretts?

Hi I'm new to these boards so please bear with me...!

I have just bought the Naked Colour shampoo in an effort to avoid sulphates which seemed to be ruining my wavy dry hair (I'm somewhere between type 2a/2b) and using Original Source peppermint condish. Whilst sorting through numerous old 'cone-laden products I had lying around I found a Superdrug Naturals Intensive Coconut and Sweet Almond deep conditioner. Looking at the ingredients I couldn't see any (obvious) cones, which surprised me as I remembered this conditioner really being quite heavy on my hair. Does anyone have any experience of this product? Is it CG?

Also have bought the Naked Heat Protection Spray for blow drying... ingredients look okay but I'm not sure it's really doing anything. Would love to hear if anybody else has used these!

Yep, it's CG. The alcohol denat. and phenoxyethanol can be quite drying, however, so watch out for that.

Default If at first you don't succeed .....

Evening ladies,

I have tried CG before, but due to my problem sebhorrheic dermatitis I had to fall back into my old ways. Having done some further research I'm ready to give it another shot. I find all the product ingredients so difficult to interpret. Here are the products I think are CG friendly:

Raw honey for the treatment of my SD
Dr. Organics shampoo (also to assist in the treatment of my SD)
Tesco Value Conditioner
Original Source Tea Tree Conditioner
NEW Naked Smooth Jojoba Oil Silky Conditioner
Coots Essentials Curl Creme
Tesco Value Gel

I know there are a few cheapy items in there, but I think they might be CG friendly. Can anyone tell me if they are?

Many thanks.

Day 1 here I come!
